Proximity to the pebbly beach made it easy to enjoy the seaside. The room had an electric kettle and flat-screen TV, which were nice conveniences. Unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning made the room uncomfortably warm. Poor Wi-Fi made it hard to stay connected. Walls were so thin that I could hear every sound from neighboring rooms, affecting my sleep. The mattress was quite old, and the bed sheets slipped off, revealing a rather unsightly mattress. I expected more comfort given the location.

The updated shower facilities were a nice touch and made for a decent shower experience. Being close to Devonshire Park for tennis was a definite bonus for those interested in catching a match.
The walls are paper-thin. I could hear neighbor's snoring like it was happening in my own room, and the noise from the street made it hard to sleep. The TV selection was underwhelming, lacking national channels, and only offering a handful of options. The kettle was a safety hazard, not switching off when boiling, which is not cool. the toiletries provided were minimal—one small tube of shampoo for two people is just short-sighted.

Hadleigh Hotel provided a lovely haven with a great location just a short walk from the seafront. The room was a comfortable twin with a new shower room, making my stay feel refreshing and enjoyable. The staff were very accommodating, enhancing the positive atmosphere during my visit.
No food or bar facilities.

Had a decent time at Hadleigh. Comfy beds were a highlight! It was great that the shower room got an upgrade. Just wish there were more TV channels and maybe a kettle that worked properly.

Short, sweet, and to the point
A last-minute escape turned delightful! The welcoming atmosphere was felt from the hospitable host to the updated shower room. Conveniently located near the seafront, it was perfect for a quick getaway, despite the room needing a bit more modern touches. Value for the busy weekend, overall a pleasant stay.
